TN CM requests Kejriwal to provide best possible care to Tamils who attended Tablighi Jamaat

As many as 559 Tablighis from Tamil Nadu are being stored in quarantine services throughout Delhi, acknowledged TN CM Edapaddi Okay Palaniswami in his letter to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Okay Palaniswami on Friday wrote a letter to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. In the letter, Palaniswami acknowledged that there 559 members of the Nizamuddin Tablighi Jamaat Markaz from Tamil Nadu presently quarantined in Delhi.

“I would like to bring to your kind notice that there are 559 Tablighis from Tamil Nadu, who had attended Tabligh Jamaat in New Delhi,” wrote the Tamil Nadu CM. Edapaddi Okay Palaniswami additional listed the names of hospitals and quarantine centres in Delhi the place every of those natives from Tamil Nadu are being stored.

The letter goes on to say, “The individuals have been complaining that some of them are diabetic and suffering from other co-morbidities. They are also not provided timely meals in the quarantine facilities.”

Palaniswami requested Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to instruct authorities to provide the best possible care for the quarantined/hospitalised people as well as to offering needed medical help to people affected by co-morbid circumstances. “As the Ramadan month is due to start, authorities may be asked to provide food and medicine to them at appropriate times,” had been the concluding phrases within the Tamil Nadu CM’s letter.
