Milk Mantra appoints FMCG veteran as COO

NEW DELHI: Milk Mantra, a new-age dairy food startup has appointed FMCG veteran, Bibhu Nanda as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new position, Nanda will lead operations and drive innovation and progress, mentioned a launch.
Nanda brings with him over 25 years of cross-functional and geographical experience (Indian subcontinent and Sub Saharan Africa) within the FMCG and meals trade throughout key capabilities such as gross sales & distribution, manufacturing operations, provide chain & logistics, and advertising and marketing operations. In his earlier stint, he served as the VP & enterprise head for meals and agri-business firm, Olam International for six years in Mozambique. Prior to that, he was with marquee firms such as Danone, Marico, Coca-Cola, and Godrej.

An engineer by coaching, he holds an MBA from XIMB and has accomplished govt management packages from INSEAD and Columbia Business School.

Over the final eight years, Milk Mantra has constructed a premium diary model in Eastern India and its milk sourcing community now includes over 60,000 farmers. Under flagship model ‘Milky Moo’ the corporate produces milk merchandise together with packaged milk, probiotic yogurt, buttermilk, cottage cheese, and so on.
