NEW DELHI: After the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) raised “grave considerations’’ over violence in Delhi, India on Thursday hit again and requested the US physique, which claims to watch non secular freedom all around the world, to not make deceptive remarks and politicise the difficulty. The authorities additionally requested the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to not make irresponsible statements on India’s inner challenge.

Later, at a media briefing, the official requested the OIC to not make inaccurate and irresponsible comments. “The statements which have come out of OIC are factually inaccurate, they’re selective, they’re deceptive. The OIC had made insensitive comments up to now too and had tried to touch upon India’s inner affairs, he added.
The OIC had mentioned in its assertion that it “condemns the latest and alarming violence towards Muslims in India, ensuing within the loss of life and harm of harmless individuals and the arson and vandalism of mosques and Muslim-owned properties”.
